Tickets

  • The regular online entry ticket covers access to the public sections of the gardens. For lectures, (unscheduled) guided tours, courses and events, additional tickets are required.
  • Online (entry) tickets cannot be exchanged for other ticket types or cash.
  • Online (entry) tickets cannot be refunded.

Important information

You can scan an e-ticket, Museumkaart, Hortus friends card and the Leiden University student LU card yourself at the ticket gates.  

If you have a discount on the admission price, for example because you are a student, you can buy a discounted ticket at the ticket counter by showing your card. Click here for a complete list of prices.
